Carole

Funeral Home Manager

 

Carole joins Willow and Green with a wealth of experience in the funeral world. Having started at Hawkings Crematorium in the joint role of memorial, Admin and Chapel assistant. She moved on to become a funeral arranger with the co-op where she progressed to funeral Director before moving on to an independent funeral home, where she also helped with taking the funeral services. In her spare time she volunteers at a local hospice to support those bereaved, and gives talks to open up the mysteries of the world of funerals.

Christine

Branch Manager

 

Christine has applied her knowledge of Psychology (B Psych (hons)) in various settings over the past 20 years. Having experienced loss close to home she feels very privileged to have the opportunity to come alongside families to facilitate the bereavement process. Her three pre-school children constantly remind her that life is beautiful and should be celebrated. She loves nature and advocates alternative funeral solutions that reduce environmental impact.

Elle

Administrator and Funeral Arranger

 

Although new to the funeral industry, Elle has many years experience in customer service, working closely with people and helping them make decisions. Elle has undertaken various voluntary roles with a local Hospice, including working in the day centre with patients and reception work. She also has a BSc Degree In Psychology. She is looking forward to helping people through one of the hardest times of their lives.

Katy Weston

Creative Arts Psychotherapist
HCPC registered, BADth member and DBS checked.

Katy began her career as a Co-ordinator of a charity working with young people with learning difficulties and behavioural and emotional challenges.  Introduced to the wonders of the creative arts, she trained for her Masters in Dramatherapy in 2007 and has subsequently completed her level one in Theraplay® and level 2 Sherbourne/Laban Movement.  Katy is currently undertaking Hakomi training and experience.  Katy speaks Romanian and is trained to Level 3 in British Sign Language so signed sessions and training courses are possible for staff teams.  Katy is a clinical supervisor and mindfulness practitioner and is currently undertaking an Ayurvedic Practitioner diploma to work in a more wholesome way with others.

 

Katy’s experience includes working in palliative care with carers, staff and terminally ill patients, retirement and multi-residence facilities for the elderly, working alongside people with disabilities and injuries and working alongside children and young people in the care system.  Katy’s specific interests include working with adults and children experiencing grief, loss and bereavement.
